Remarks. This fuze has replaced the original H.Z. 14 Vorst.<br />
fuze, from which it differs chieflyby the additi<strong>on</strong> of a centrifugal<br />
safety bolt (Fliehbolzen). Externally, it differs <strong>on</strong>ly in the<br />
marking.<br />
Fuzes have also been found with Vrst. <strong>and</strong> Vst. after the<br />
designati<strong>on</strong> HZ.14 :Vorst., Vrst. <strong>and</strong> Vst. are abbreviati<strong>on</strong>s for<br />
VorStecker (safety pin).<br />
A red cap <strong>and</strong> OrO °r y\> stamped <strong>on</strong> the head of an H.Z.<br />
14 Vorst. fuze indicate a det<strong>on</strong>ator of superior quality.<br />
The H.Z.14 Vorst. fuze was also made without the groove<br />
round the body just below the cap.
