Inanother variati<strong>on</strong> of this fuze, the letters O.Az. (phne Aufschlagziindung<br />

without percussi<strong>on</strong> system), are stamped <strong>on</strong> the right of the setting<br />

mark. The upper timering is graduated in sec<strong>on</strong>ds from3to 30, <strong>and</strong> in<br />

fifths of a sec<strong>on</strong>d from 2$ to -30J. Two fifths or '4 of each sec<strong>on</strong>d is further<br />

indicated by the figure 4. The cap is painted red. This fuze is used with<br />

the H.E. shell, of <strong>German</strong> manufacture, fired from the 7"62 cm. (3")Bussian<br />

field gun c<strong>on</strong>verted for anti-aircraft work.
