2. Acts as a liaison between the SCNA Chapters and the Board of Directors.
3. Serves as the official spokesperson to the Board of Directors concerning issues affecting the
SCNA Chapters.
SCNA Chapter Meetings
1. Chairs and presides over all meetings of the Chairs of the SCNA Chapters.
2. Supervises the affairs of all SCNA Chapters and collaborate with chapters for Chapter growth,
prosperity and creation of new chapters.
3. Reports activities of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to the Chapter Chairs
Meeting.
4. Chairs the SCNA Chapter Awards Committee
5. Ensures that all Chapters have representation on the SCNA Legislative Committee and the SCNA
Convention Planning Team.

1. Attends all Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Annual Meeting, and Chapter Chairs
Meeting.

Current Year Activities: Continued support of plans for updating the Nurse Practice Act in relation to
practice of APRNs. Continued support of activities related to the Coalition to the Access to Health Care.
Continued work with SCNA Convention planning committee for sessions at the 2104 SCNA Convention
and 21st Annual Pharmacology Conference
