Properties can be leased from a landlord or
real estate agent. You can move into an already
established share house, or you can set one up with
friends or acquaintances. Remember to consider
your compatibility with each other. Living with
co-tenants is usually the most affordable housing
option as many of the costs can be shared.

Student apartments are generally quite modern
and designed specifically for students. They are
self-contained, but communal space is usually also
available. Apartment providers will often organise social
activities for residents. Different apartment styles are
available, eg. studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom etc.

Student hostels provide single (or shared rooms) with
communal living spaces. Student hostels are different
from backpacker hostels, as they offer longer-term
housing specifically for students. Hostel providers
