3 Registration cancellation dates
Research master’s and doctoral students may not cancel their studies after acceptance thereof
Last day for cancellation of semester 1 modules (full forfeiture after this date) 15 March 2011
Last day for cancellation of year papers/modules; minimum payment forfeited
15 May 2011
(initial payment and second payment forfeited after this date)
Last day for cancellation of semester 2 modules; minimum payment forfeited
15 August 2011
(full forfeiture after this date)
Last day for concellation of year papers/modules; minimum and second payment forfeited 15 August 2011
(full forfeiture after this date)
4 Legal fees
Any legal fees that arise due to actions taken by Unisa to collect unpaid student fees will be for the
account of students. If students fail to pay any outstanding amount on their account before the relevant
date, their registration for the respective study units will be summarily cancelled by the University, and no
appeal against such cancellation will be considered. In respect of each cancelled study unit, students will
forfeit fees in accordance with registration cancellation dates. Thereafter, they will be registered only for
the number of study units for which they had paid in full prior to the dates as indicated.
5 Miscellaneous fees
All miscellaneous fees are payable to Unisa and may be included with your student fees.
