16. Camp Library<br />
All prisoners may availfthemselves.of the camp library.<br />
Certain prisoners can by order:be . eigluded from its Use. Books<br />
will 'behandled with care and returned. Within one week.<br />
17. Alarm<br />
When Sirens sound .an alammin campor several shots are<br />
fired in quick succession ailptisoners will withoutfail:dotible<br />
to their barracks and close doors and windows without delay.<br />
Prisoners who 'do not act in accordance with this order or Who<br />
leave barracks while the alarm lasts will be fired on without<br />
further warning., •<br />
18. Roll Call<br />
The roll-call will be ordered by the Camp Sub-commander<br />
(Lagarfahrer) or his Bapportfdhrer (man who calls the roll at<br />
parades). The order can be given either by -whistle or by word<br />
of mouth. Prisoners will fall in as companies on their predesignated<br />
place; the coy. Sergeant-Wor on duty (beauftragter<br />
Itessaniefeldmebel) having ordered "Attention", "Eyes right<br />
(left)" will report the strength of the prisoners coy.<br />
19. Requests and Complaintg<br />
Prisoners are entitled to voice requests and complaints.<br />
The Camp Commandant is the highest authority to decide over<br />
requests and complaints.<br />
In all instances requests and complaints will be submitted<br />
to the commander of the prisoners coy, whose duty it is to<br />
<strong>for</strong>ward them through service channels. 'In case a complaint should<br />
be directed against the coy. commander himself it will be submitted<br />
to the Camp Sub-commanders<br />
Prisoners who do not adhere to the procedure relating to<br />
complaints as laid down or who <strong>for</strong> the purpose of lodging a<br />
Complaint collect signatures will be punished.<br />
Anyone basing a complaint on false facts will be held<br />
responsible.<br />
Prisoners who want to make a report have to submit a<br />
request to the commander of the prisoners coy. In special cases<br />
it is permissible to submit such request directly to the Camp<br />
Sub-commander.<br />
The Political Commissar will receive the report <strong>for</strong> the<br />
Commandant. As last resort the prisoner may be permitted to<br />
report to the Commandant.<br />
20, Haircut<br />
Each prisoner's - company has to detail a company-barber<br />
to whom a state-owned pair of hair-clippers will be issued.<br />
Hair and beards will be cut every <strong>for</strong>tnight, neck and temples<br />
have to be kept absolutely short. A prisoner's - company which<br />
does not comply with these orders will be ordered to shear off<br />
all hair completely in the same way as they are shorn on<br />
commitment to the camp.<br />

21. General Rules<br />
The times <strong>for</strong> lights-out and reveille will be ordered by<br />
the Commandant.<br />
