In 1938 women inmates from MORINGEN<br />
were transferred to this camp.<br />
February 1943, 140 Austrians and 3,500<br />
Russian PWs arrived at this camp.<br />
Special treatment and gas chambers<br />
awaited Russian commissars. The other<br />
PWs were hardly better off, and 60 - 80<br />
deaths sometimes occurred in one day.<br />
July, 1943, some Polish inmates were<br />
reported to be. in the camp.<br />
August , 1943. Inmates were put to<br />
work in quarries. •<br />
