XVIII. STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES<br />
The Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) will serve as a centralized<br />
management center for emergency operations carried out in the Province. The PEOC<br />
will also serve as the focal point of the Government’s coordination of response and<br />
Recovery activities during and after disasters and emergencies. Aim of these SOPs is to<br />
identify the role and responsibilities of PEOC and to identify nature of its coordination<br />
and communication with different stakeholders i.e District Administration, Government<br />
Line Departments, UN agencies etc.<br />
ACTIVATION<br />
The level for activating the PEOC will depend on the nature and scope of the threat of<br />
disaster to a part of the Province, District(s), Tehsil or Union Council(s) etc<br />
