OPERATIONS<br />
The operations would be undertaken by the PEOC team, headed by the DG PDMA,<br />
Director PDMA and Deputy Director PDMA<br />
Response: This would entail:<br />
Search and Rescue<br />
Military Support<br />
Communications<br />
Mass Care<br />
Firefighting<br />
Health and Medical<br />
Law Enforcement<br />
Actions:<br />
Planning<br />
Resource mapping and support<br />
Message tracking:<br />
Incoming messages to the PEOC will be captured in writing (forms).<br />
Upon completion, these form(s) will be forwarded to the Office in charge (OIC) for appropriate<br />
action and dissemination.<br />
Incoming messages will be saved in the appropriate disaster operations file.<br />
All outgoing messages will be reviewed and approved before being sent out by the OIC.<br />
After outgoing messages have been sent, they will be saved in the appropriate disaster<br />
Operations file.<br />
Requests for support:<br />
The PEOC will be responsible for requesting assistance from agencies / organizations to address<br />
equipment and personnel resource needs during a disaster.<br />
Requests for assistance will be recorded (Forms) and reviewed by the OIC.<br />
The original message requesting assistance will be placed in the appropriate disaster operations<br />
file.<br />
Requests will be tracked and followed up until completion and then filed.<br />
