CASE MARTIN ’06 graduated from the University of Oxford
in June 2012, with a master’s degree in African Studies.
Case’s thesis Tracing the Development of South Sudan’s
Health Care allowed him to return to South Sudan, where he
had previously worked as a Princeton in Africa Fellow with
the International Rescue Committee’s primary health care
program. While at
Oxford, Case enjoyed
rowing crew for his
college, St. Antony’s.
Case is a first-year
medical student at
the UT Southwestern
Medical School
in Dallas.

WILLIAM TRAVIS ’06 is in his second year at Tulane
Law School, having received a Dean’s scholarship. This
summer, he will be interning at the Dallas law firm of
Underwood Perkins PC.
2007
DAN SHULMAN ’07 and Allie Hayes were married on
November 24, 2012, in Dallas. Marksmen groomsmen
included Dan’s brothers STEVE SHULMAN ’08 and
MICHAEL SHULMAN ’10, KIRK HAYES ’09, ZACH
HOCHSTER ’07, and NICK BAILEY ’07. Allie and Dan
live in a loft in downtown
Durham, North
Carolina, where Allie
is a special education
teacher and Dan is an
auditor for McGladrey.
2008 5 Years
MARK BUTLER ’08 graduated from Southern Methodist
University in May 2012 and accepted his dream job with J.P.
Morgan in Dallas. During his time at SMU, he enjoyed
exploring his interests in finance, coaching, and photography.
ALEX KATZ ’08 was a 2012 recipient of the Wallace Sterling
Award at Stanford University, recognizing him as one of
the top scholars in
his senior class. Alex

his third-grade teacher,
to attend the ceremony
as a teacher who
inspired him during
his St. Mark’s career.

MATT MARTIN ’08 graduated cum laude from Davidson
College last spring with a major in Spanish and a minor
in Economics. While at Davidson, Matt co-founded a
video-conference language-learning program connecting
American and Argentinean students, which was subsequently
incorporated into the Davidson Spanish Department
curriculum. Matt lives in New York City, where he works
for J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a first-year analyst.
2009
BRAD TRAVIS ’09 is traveling nationally, as well as
internationally, with the country’s oldest collegiate
a capella group, The Whiffenpoofs of Yale University.
2010
ADAM BROBJORG ’10 had his first museum show at
the Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami in 2012 and
subsequently appeared in an HBO reality documentary
series, Masterclass with Bruce Weber. Adam discovered his
talent for digital photography at St. Mark’s in a course
taught by Scott Hunt. Adam is traveling around the world
and pursuing his passion for photography and art.
