St. Mark’s debate coach TIM MAHONEY and his wife, Julie,
are proud to announce the arrival of their son Dalton Gavin
Mahoney. Dalton was born on September 19, 2012, at 9 lbs.,
12 oz., and 21 inches long.
JOHN MEAD is proud to announce the marriage of his
daughter, Katie Mead, to Evan Brewer on December 15, 2012,
in Allen, Texas. Katie and Evan live in Laurel, Maryland.
Upper School English teacher MARTA NAPIORKOWSKA
received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the
University of Chicago in December 2012. Her dissertation
The Perduring Sublime: The Poetics of Post-Sublime Recovery
in the Poems of Adam Zagajewski, Miroslav Holub, and Allen
Grossman related poetic language to the philosophy of self
and consciousness.
