to tone, tighten and sculpt that lower half. Filled with athletic drills and skills, we<br />

will combine strength and cardio intervals using the Xertube, xercuff, hand<br />

weights and the new slanted step ( or regular step) -a new toy that will revolutionize<br />

the your group fitness classes. We’ll increase our athletic capabilities<br />

Chi Gung and T'ai Chi are definitely the raging chic exercise forms of the millennium.<br />

Experience energy work by learning the tenets backing the Eastern mindbody<br />

disciplines of both T'ai Chi and Chi-Gung. You will learn movements and<br />

forms that release physical chi within the body via free-flowing, yet controlled,<br />

muscular movement. Lawrence will share with both Group Exercise Instructors<br />

and PTs some T'ai Chi and Chi-Gung forms that can be incorporated into any<br />

warm-up, cool-down, class, and personal training session.<br />

Build a functionally strong body for the golden years by training muscles with purpose.<br />

Training muscles for their specific functions in daily activities, both routine<br />

and unexpected, means that strength achieved will be usable helping to protect<br />

the body from accidental falls. As our body ages it is time that we ask ourselves<br />

“What are we doing?” “Why are we doing it this way?” and “How will this help<br />

enhance our daily living performances?”. The body is a dynamic, integrated<br />

structure, not a series of parts that function independently of one another. You<br />

will be presented with a program design utilizing principles of stabilization and<br />

weight bearing/closed chain training incorporating a wide variety of equipment<br />

Briebart) This original Standing Pilates workout incorporates sequences of<br />

evolved Pilates progressions that focus on the deeper muscles of the core.<br />

Incorporating the TYE 4, an innovative piece of apparatus that connects the<br />

arms and legs via light bungee cords attached to an adjustable neoprene vest,<br />

learn and feel how the body works as a complete and integrated unit. It gives<br />

the assistive qualities of the Reformer and allows effective and efficient execution<br />

of Pilates progressions in an upright position.<br />
