Every passing moment energized the atmosphere more to
further loosen reservations. With gaiety and joviality on the
ascent, many hidden talents surfaced. Each country strut the
stage to put up impromptu “national” items, vying to make their
contribution the “memorable item” of the evening.
The warm fellowship and camaraderie forged during the dinner
augusts well as many of us only met for the first time. At the
dinner, a keynote speaker eloquently summed up the spirit of
the symposium: “I am here not only to teach, but also to learn.”
In the end we all learn… from different parts of the world. DA
