Certificate IV in Training and Assessment<br />
Do you want to be a trainer in the business, corporate or Vocational,<br />
Education and Training (VET) sectors? Learn how to design and develop<br />
training programs, facilitate individual, groups based and work-based training,<br />
develop and continuously improve assessment tools, conduct assessments<br />
and learn to work within the compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant<br />

Training and Assessment (TAE40110). This upgrade includes the new<br />
mandatory unit TAELLN401A (Address Adult Language, Literacy and<br />
Numeracy <strong>Skills</strong>).<br />

Diploma <strong>of</strong> Vocational Education and Training /<br />
Diploma <strong>of</strong> Training Design and Development<br />
This <strong>course</strong> is suitable for VET teachers, <strong>TAFE</strong> teachers and Industry based<br />
trainers who would like to further develop their facilitation skills. You will learn<br />
how to design and develop learning strategies and resources along with the<br />
assessment tools required. This qualification reflects the roles <strong>of</strong> experienced<br />
practitioners delivering training and assessment services usually within<br />
Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) within the vocational education<br />
and training (VET) sector. This qualification is a logical progression <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and vocational experience in training<br />
and assessment roles within an RTO or similar organisation where the focus<br />
has been on competency based training.<br />
With the selection <strong>of</strong> elective units that we <strong>of</strong>fer in the Dip VET, a second<br />
qualification: the Diploma <strong>of</strong> Training Design and Development can be<br />
awarded to you when all <strong>of</strong> the requirements for the Dip VET are met.<br />
