Automotive Airconditioning<br />

Gap Training<br />

This short <strong>course</strong> involves<br />

installation service and diagnosis<br />

<strong>of</strong> air conditioning systems<br />

fitted to light vehicles, plant<br />

and equipment, heavy vehicles<br />

or marine craft (low voltage).<br />

The Units include identification<br />

and confirmation <strong>of</strong> work<br />

requirement, preparation for<br />

work, installation and charging<br />

<strong>of</strong> the air conditioning systems<br />

and completion <strong>of</strong> work<br />

finalisation processes, including<br />

clean-up and documentation.<br />

With this <strong>course</strong>, together with<br />

certificate III in automotive,<br />

students can apply for their<br />

licensing certificate to work on<br />

automotive air conditioning.<br />

provides free business management assistance.<br />

The A-to-B program is designed for eligible, qualified tradespeople who:<br />

• Have started a business in the last two years<br />

• Want to start a business<br />

• Are operating/want to operate as an independent subcontractor.<br />

The A-to-B program provides:<br />

• Free training in a nationally recognised qualification in small business<br />

management<br />

• Free business mentoring.<br />

The A-to-B program is delivered by <strong>Box</strong> <strong>Hill</strong> <strong>Institute</strong>’s Business Enterprise<br />
