Automotive Airconditioning
Gap Training
This short course involves
installation service and diagnosis
of air conditioning systems
fitted to light vehicles, plant
and equipment, heavy vehicles
or marine craft (low voltage).
The Units include identification
and confirmation of work
requirement, preparation for
work, installation and charging
of the air conditioning systems
and completion of work
finalisation processes, including
clean-up and documentation.
With this course, together with
certificate III in automotive,
students can apply for their
licensing certificate to work on
automotive air conditioning.

12.30pm on the day PRIOR
to the start date. No further
enrolments will be taken after
12.30pm the day before the
class is scheduled to run.
Prerequisites: Formal photo
identification is required on the
day of the class, i.e. Driver’s
Licence or Passport. Students

photo ID will be unable to

provides free business management assistance.
The A-to-B program is designed for eligible, qualified tradespeople who:
• Have started a business in the last two years
• Want to start a business
• Are operating/want to operate as an independent subcontractor.
The A-to-B program provides:
• Free training in a nationally recognised qualification in small business
management
• Free business mentoring.
The A-to-B program is delivered by Box Hill Institute’s Business Enterprise
Centres (BEC’s) – Box Hill BEC.
