Do you need to improve your reading, writing,<br />

science and maths skills for the Australian<br />

workplace? CAE <strong>of</strong>fers Reading, Writing, Science<br />

and Maths classes at many levels in a friendly<br />

and supportive adult learning environment. Study<br />

part-time or full-time, day or evening. Classes<br />

range from beginner to year 10 equivalent.<br />

For beginner level students who need literacy and numeracy<br />

skills. Develop an individual learning plan and use simple texts<br />

for reading and writing experience. Study maths and money<br />

handling in everyday situations and practice measurements.<br />

Learn computer skills, practice writing texts, use the internet<br />

and develop keyboard skills.<br />

complex texts. Focus on spelling and punctuation and develop<br />

for participation in the community. Study maths and explore<br />

areas such as statistics, measurement, and other formulae.<br />

This <strong>course</strong> has been developed to enable students to<br />

consolidate their literacy skills. Students will be developing a<br />

wide variety <strong>of</strong> complex texts that will help students develop<br />

confidence<br />

in a range <strong>of</strong> everyday life or work situations. Students may<br />

wish to continue with their maths studies areas <strong>of</strong> their choice,<br />

such as at a <strong>TAFE</strong> <strong>Institute</strong> or university.<br />
