This <strong>course</strong> provides a wonderful opportunity to explore a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
art techniques and skills. Be introduced to making art in a serious and<br />
committed fashion. Study drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and art<br />
theory. <strong>Work</strong> with teachers who are all artists with extensive knowledge <strong>of</strong><br />
the practicalities <strong>of</strong> working in the art industry.<br />
Full and part time study options are available, midyear, part time intake<br />
classes commence in July, please contact us to arrange an interview.<br />

Certificate IV in Visual Arts<br />
Certificate IV in Visual Arts is a one year full time <strong>course</strong> with a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
part time options available. Our practising artist teachers provide students<br />
with valuable mentoring and experience with practical techniques.<br />
Our city location is ideal for exposure to many galleries both public and<br />
commercial.<br />
The Certificate IV will enable learners to build on conceptual and practical<br />
skills, you will undertake extensive studies in drawing, painting, printmaking<br />
and sculpture.<br />
Listen to artists speak about their work and broaden your understanding <strong>of</strong><br />
art history and theory.<br />

Diploma <strong>of</strong> Visual Arts<br />
The Diploma <strong>of</strong>fers students the opportunity to study visual art specialising<br />
in drawing, printmaking, painting and sculpture. Art theory, arts business<br />
and a visiting artist program are essential parts <strong>of</strong> this qualification.<br />
<strong>Work</strong> with teachers who are all artists with extensive knowledge <strong>of</strong> the<br />
practicalities <strong>of</strong> working in the art industry. Full and part time study options<br />
are available. VET Fee Help is available for our Diploma learners.<br />

Advanced Diploma <strong>of</strong> Visual Art<br />
Extend on your practical and conceptual skills, working to develop an<br />
individual body <strong>of</strong> work that is <strong>of</strong> exhibition standard. The timetable includes<br />
classes at our city campus and individual mentoring programs, working one<br />
to one in the learner’s own studio space.<br />
Emphasis is placed on developing research skills, networks and arts<br />
business practice. VET Fee Help is available for our Advanced Diploma<br />
learners.<br />

Victorian and Commonwealth Governments.
