Theory and practice come together neatly here, with installation and setup simplicity itself. Lighting sequences and colour changes can be set up very quickly with the x-touchPANEL. Up to 128 DALI addresses can be controlled and 16 lighting groups can be assigned. In addition, 16 lighting scenes can be programmed and recalled. The two software versions stored in the x-touchPANEL guarantee versatile lighting management. One option is a program focuses on mood lighting with white light and scene selections. The option selected for the Gravis flagship store is the one that is designed specifically for time-controlled colour changes and colour sequencing via RGB colour mixing. The special feature is the ease with which colours can be selected. The shade is chosen by touch from a palette of colours and the x-touchPANEL then automatically calculates the light levels for the individual coloured light sources. The integrated DALI sequencer enables lighting moods (scenes) to be called up one after the other automatically. Up to 99 independent lighting sequences can be stored, each capable of calling up to 16 lighting scenes any number of times. This means that the atmosphere in the room can be constantly changing. In addition to manual selection of lighting scenes and dimming, a total of seven “schedules” can be defined. These are calendar-controlled sequences. Intuition triumphs With its impressive lighting system the Gravis store is a real eye-catcher, both inside with its bright and inviting atmosphere, and outside where at night-time dynamic coloured lighting is used to make it a focal point of local interest.
