Events Always on hand – throughout the world Presence at trade fairs around the world and various customer events reflect the unbroken interest in TridonicAtco’s innovative product range. In the case of LED applications and lighting management there is increasing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. This expanding fair was an ideal showcase for TridonicAtco. Architects, interior designers, electrical engineers, lighting designers and wholesalers obtained valuable information on innovative products such as LED light sources, ballasts and controllers. The TALEXX EOS 2 nd Generation modules in particular are opening up new design options thanks to their high luminous efficacy and white light quality, so they were of special interest to visitors to the TridonicAtco stand. The innovative x-touchPANEL controller was another favourite because of the ease with which it can configure lighting scenes with white light or mixtures of RGB colours. The coloured lighting display was a real magnet for visitors. TridonicAtco is present at trade fairs all over the world – such as the International Lighting Fair in Beijing Intensive dialogue with potential customers Milan now also on the agenda TridonicAtco attended Euroluce in Milan for the first time this year. This fair ran from April 18 to 23, 2007 as part of the international furniture fair at the new exhibition site in Milan. 563 exhibitors presented their products in an area of just over 50,000 m 2 . With a record attendance of 270,824 this was 21 % higher than the figure for 2006 and 40 % higher than 2005. There was particularly large increase in the number of international visitors. The Beijing lighting fair is growing in importance The 8 th International Lighting Fair, one of the most important exhibitions in China, took place in Beijing from April 22 to 24, 2007. More than 300 exhibitors presented their latest products to 20,000 visitors including regional lighting planners, luminaire designers, retailers and luminaire manufacturers. On its impressive 135 m 2 stand TridonicAtco showcased a broad spectrum of lighting control components of particular relevance to the market and attracted enormous attention. This applied above all to its intelligent lighting management products including DALI control gear. The accompanying product training courses and the training courses for retailers have proved to be a great success. These courses and attendance at the fair show that TridonicAtco is becoming more and more established in this market. TridonicAtco and Wennerström Ljuskontroll at Elfack Great success at the India International Sign Show Seminar at the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition Scandinavia tackles sustainability A record 31,409 visitors flocked to the Elfack fair which took place from May 7 to 11, 2007. 478 exhibitors and 605 retailers were at this lighting fair, the most important in Scandinavia. At the joint stand run by TridonicAtco and Wennerström Ljuskontroll AB – the Swedish partner of TridonicAtco for more than ten years and the distributor for Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – numerous electrical engineers, electricians, wholesalers, OEM customers and end users were provided with information on a wide range of innovative products. For the important topics of energy efficiency and environmental protection in lighting technology TridonicAtco dimming and lighting management concepts provide an outstanding solution for sustainable energy savings. Every second dimmable ballast currently in use in Sweden is a PCA EXCEL one4all lp or PCA ECO lp unit from TridonicAtco. The new PCA generation with Intelligent Temperature Guard (ITG) and corridorFUNCTION impressed the visitors. New trends in Barcelona More than 286,000 visitors (8 % more than in 2005) attended the Construmat fair which was held from May 14 to 19, 2007 in Barcelona. Around 4,500 exhibitors from 50 countries presented the latest trends in materials and machines for the home at this international exhibition. For TridonicAtco the focus was on LED modules, such as the high-intensity TALEXX EOS 2 nd Generation, ballasts for various applications and intelligent lighting management systems. The LED applications on show included emergency lighting, shop and shop window lighting, cabinet lighting and accent lighting for homes and hotels, with increasing focus on the energy efficiency of these solutions. Great interest was shown in the x-touchPANEL, the aesthetic easy-to-use control panel, and the ability to create lighting scenarios for rooms, with blinds integrated in a DALI system being controlled via an interface to a Somfy motor controller – a unique feature from TridonicAtco. Illuminated signage in India For the first time TridonicAtco attended the 12 th India International Sign Show and immediately registered great success. From June 1 to 3, 2007, 60 exhibitors presented products and solutions relating to topics such as POP, sales displays, graphic solutions and signage to around 6,000 visitors. For signage applications TridonicAtco has been offering extremely innovative solutions for a long time now, with signage elements to enhance the image of any company. These include an entire range of TALEXXchains, TALEXXstrips, ballasts and controllers. Visitors were particularly impressed by the colour chases based on RGB colour mixing and by the lettering equipped with TALEXX modules. Guangzhou continues on an upward trend Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition + Electrical Building Technology China, which took place from June 8 to 11, 2007, confirmed its position as the leading fair for lighting technology and building automation in Asia. More than 45,000 visitors from 98 countries picked up the latest information from 1,229 international exhibitors. The numerous visitors to the 176 m 2 TridonicAtco stand showed enormous interest in innovative technologies and pioneering lighting components. Product demo panels provided an excellent overview of the wide product range. Particular focus was on LED modules, lighting management and DALI control gear. Other highlights included the PC-R ballast with fixed output designed specifically for the Chinese market. Also successful was the seminar to which TridonicAtco together with Guangdong Illuminating Electric Appliance Association invited around 100 participants. This event and participation in the fair helped TridonicAtco strengthen its reputation still further and make potential customers even more aware of its wide range of high-tech products.
