Knee-Calf Components
Decades of experience have gone into the
design of Otto Bock knee-calf components.
The components are built in accordance with
the static and dynamic guidelines of the Otto
Bock alignment system.
Regardless of the material being used –
whether wood or Pedilen® – Otto Bock kneecalf
components are made with thick walls
that provide sufficient material for successful
alignment in the three spatial planes. The
thick-wall design allows the clinician to shape
the prosthesis from both the outside and
the inside, creating a thinner wall and a lighter
prosthesis.
Precision-built joints are integrated into the
knee-calf components. They feature a simple
design, safe operation, minimal weight, easy
maintenance and long-lasting performance.
Standard parts are used to ensure that components
can be quickly replaced.
