MOBILITY GRADES
MOBIS® – is based on four Mobility Grades*:
Indoor Walkers, Restricted Outdoor Walkers, Unrestricted
Outdoor Walkers and Unrestricted Outdoor Walkers with
especially rigorous demands.

the German umbrella association for National Health Insurance Companies
(MDS).)

THE FOUR
WEIGHT CLASSES
MOBIS® – defi nes four weight categories:
Patient weight up to 75 kg/165 lbs, 100 kg/220lbs and 125
kg/275 lbs as wellas over 125 kg/275 lbs. With only one
symbol, Mobis® therewith unites all the information required
for selecting prosthetic components. As usual, the following
applies: The component of the lowest weight category determines
the maximum body weight. For example, if a 2R50
Tube Adapter is used, the maximum patient weight for entire
prosthesis is 100 kg.
MOBIS®– can be easily applied:
Fields that are filled out in the top half of the symbol indicate
that, for example, the 3R60 Modular EBS Knee Joint is recommended
for patients with Mobility Grades 2 and 3. The
notch on the left edge indicates the counting direction. In the
