MOBIS® – is based on four Mobility Grades*:<br />

Indoor Walkers, Restricted Outdoor Walkers, Unrestricted<br />

Outdoor Walkers and Unrestricted Outdoor Walkers with<br />

especially rigorous demands.<br />

the German umbrella association for National Health Insurance Companies<br />

THE FOUR<br />

WEIGHT CLASSES<br />

MOBIS® – defi nes four weight categories:<br />

Patient weight up to 75 kg/165 lbs, 100 kg/220lbs and 125<br />

kg/275 lbs as wellas over 125 kg/275 lbs. With only one<br />

symbol, Mobis® therewith unites all the information required<br />

for selecting prosthetic components. As usual, the following<br />

applies: The component of the lowest weight category determines<br />

the maximum body weight. For example, if a 2R50<br />

Tube Adapter is used, the maximum patient weight for entire<br />

prosthesis is 100 kg.<br />

MOBIS®– can be easily applied:<br />

Fields that are filled out in the top half of the symbol indicate<br />

that, for example, the 3R60 Modular EBS Knee Joint is recommended<br />

for patients with Mobility Grades 2 and 3. The<br />

notch on the left edge indicates the counting direction. In the<br />

bottom half, the segments
