Island ventilation hood AI 400.
Gaggenau’s most powerful ventilation hood. A new feature
of this classic appliance is the harmoniously calm
appearance of the underside with its rim extraction filter.
Also available as an AW 400 wall-mounted hood.
• Dimensions: 120 cm wide, 70 cm deep; made of stainless
steel. (Also available in a width of 150 cm. The wall-mounted
hood is available in a width of 90 cm. In combination with an
external fan, the AI 400 is also available without a motor.)
• Dimmable cooktop lighting: When switched on/off, the light
gently fades in/out. It can also be dimmed manually.
• Four modes: Three output modes and an intensive mode,
which automatically reverts to the previously selected mode
after a few minutes.
• Run-on function: At the push of a button, the ventilation runs
on for about ten minutes and then automatically cuts out.
• Interval ventilation: To assist room ventilation, the AI 400
automatically switches on for five minutes every hour.
• Rim extraction filter: A visual treat that is extremely quiet and
efficient. The filters are extracted using a push-to-unlock
system that features a safety catch and can be conveniently
cleaned in the dishwasher. More information can be found on
