Warming drawer.<br />
Gourmets regard <strong>G<strong>ag</strong>g<strong>enau</strong></strong> warming drawers as a<br />
secret compartment which can do much more than<br />
merely <strong>he</strong>at plates. <strong>T<strong>he</strong></strong> interior is made from hygienic<br />
stainless steel and glass, and it’s food-safe. At temperatures<br />
between 40°C and 80°C, t<strong>he</strong>y can be used for<br />
browning roasts, getting pastries to rise or keeping<br />
soups warm, and are also ideal for gentle defrosting.<br />
Warming drawers are available in three different sizes<br />
and can be combined with t<strong>he</strong> oven, Combi-steam oven,<br />
Combi-microwave oven or a fully automatic espresso<br />
machine, as required. <strong>T<strong>he</strong></strong> WS 221 model shown <strong>he</strong>re is<br />
in t<strong>he</strong> 200 series design and is ideal for combination<br />
with a Combi-microwave oven as shown on p<strong>ag</strong>es 40/41.<br />
<strong>T<strong>he</strong></strong> warming drawer holds six dinner plates including<br />
soup bowls.<br />
