Effect Size (ES): it is the measurement of the <strong>for</strong>ce of the relationship between two variables.<br />

Follow<strong>in</strong>g the recommendations of Cohen, the values are equivalent to: D= 0.2 “small effect”,<br />

around d = 0.5 “medium” effect and d = 0.8 on “large” effect, although this <strong>in</strong>terpretation<br />

depends on the context. The size of the weighted effect (ESw) will refer to the statistical control<br />

exercised on the <strong>in</strong>fluence of the different <strong>in</strong> sample sizes.<br />
