ACE Chemistry Camp for Girls This camp is for girls who want to be challenged while discovering how much fun science can be. Learn basic chemistry, including acids, bases, and chemical reactions using instruments and equipment normally used in high school and college classes. Bring your songs and ideas to this year’s Imaginary Worlds Camp, where we’ll be creating music videos and games using the latest version of Scratch, a new software package from MIT. In the process, we’ll be learning about logical thinking, problem-solving techniques, quantitative reasoning, and the basics of computer animation. You will take home a flash drive containing Scratch, and will publish your project on the Scratch website (scratch.mit.edu). 2009 Summer Engineering and Science Programs for KIDS CCS’ One Week at a Time Students will have a chance to study art all day, one week at a time. For eight weeks, students will be immersed in subjects such as automotive design, computer animation, digital design, and more.
