Computer Technology Camp
Experience hands-on learning and discuss
current hot topics in the information
technology industry. One full day will be
devoted to creating animation, 3D modeling,
and gaming using 3D Studio Max and Unreal
Engine as development tools. Also included
will be a day focused on networking using
the Linux server and a day concentrated on
crime scene investigation/computer fraud
and digital forensics.

Introduction to Animation &
Game Design
Students will learn the fundamentals of 3D
modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation
and will plan, model, script, and create
game levels using a 3D real-time game
engine. Students are expected to have a solid
familiarity with a Windows PC computer
environment.

Game Design
Students must have completed Introduction
to Animation & Game Design. This session
will build on the skills learned in beginning
sessions. Students are expected to have
a solid familiarity with a Windows PC
computer environment.

Architecture, Construction,
and Graphics
Students will use architectural CAD software
to design a building. This track also offers
demonstrations and hands-on applications in
surveying and mapping; printing and digital
imaging; heating, ventilation, air conditioning,
and refrigeration; and construction.

Students will learn what it’s like to be a
research scientist working in the area of
genetics, molecular biology, and forensics.
Learning opportunities in this lab setting
include genetics, cancer, viruses, bacteria,
recombinant DNA, forensic biology, and
medical research.
