80 BALTEX Phase II Science Framework and Implementation Strategy A close collaboration between the BALTEX and the EUR-OCEANS networks with respect to some research fields, especially modelling hydrographical, atmospheric and oceanographic processes, as well as the integration of these processes into biogeochemical modelling systems, will be of mutual benefit.
