BUSINESS UPDATE
Keddy Family Chiropractic
treats the entire body
CARTHAGE — Dr. Ryan Keddy
opened Keddy Family Chiropractic
in June 2006. Now, entering
his third year, his practice
continues to grow, mostly by referrals
from his patients, their
relatives, neighbors and friends.
Dr. Keddy and office manager
Kellie Neddo are constantly improving
the practice, including
having office hours to further accommodate
their patients. Their
expanded hours include opening
at noon Wednesdays and
staying open until 8 p.m. In addition
they offer Saturday morning
hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Our practice continues to
grow,” Dr. Keddy said. “We are always
trying to make it more convenient
for our patients to make
an appointment, and we know
that everyone has a busy schedule
including their work. By extending
our hours into the evening,
and Saturday morning, it gives
them a more lifestyle friendly
choice for their chiropractic care.”
Keddy Family Chiropractic
says chiropractic treatments are
effective for both conditionbased
and wellness-based care,
and its specialty is treatment of
the whole body. Dr. Keddy and
his staff can help treat a variety
of conditions. They encourage
the concept of wellness care and
maintaining an interference
free nervous system so your
body can function at its optimum.
Dr. Keddy’s interests in
diversified, Gonstead, Thompson,
Activator, myofascial trigger
point therapy and extremity
adjusting allows the practice to
offer a diverse range of therapies
for someone of any age or complaint.
Dr. Keddy has also taken
a series of seminars in extremity
adjusting and is capable of adjusting
much more than just the
spine. For example, a sprained
ankle commonly results in your
talus moving anterior. If the
talus remains anterior, this will
alter the way you walk. The resulting
limp can than affect your
hips, forcing your low back to
compensate for this change in
posture. The kinetic effect can
be seen all the way up the spine.
Chiropractic care can help treat
the related symptoms.
“My patients are surprised to
find out how their spine and
nervous system has an effect on
so many other health problems,
and how through chiropractic
treatment those symptoms can
be treated,” Dr. Keddy said.
Keddy Family Chiropractic
participates with most major insurances,
and continues to add
new ones to the list. If patients
have insurance questions, or to
see if Keddy Family Chiropractic
participates with their insurance,
they should call 493-BACK
(2225). Keddy Family Chiropractic
is at 410 State St., next to
St. James Church.
“Avoiding the dentist’s office
results in the need for long
and involved procedures having
to be performed,” he said. “This
compounds the fearfulness and
anxiety some experience. With
conscious sedation dentistry, I
am able to perform procedures
quicker, easier, and in most cases,
with one visit.”
over the years, providing services
to patients in Jefferson and Lewis
counties, including Fort Drum
a wide range of surgical services
for children and adults in an
outpatient, in-office and inpatient
setting. He performs surgical
procedures at local area hospitals,
including Carthage Area,
to stay abreast of the most recent
technological advancements in
“One of the biggest concerns
for my patients is the length of
time for recovery. People can’t
afford to miss work or be unable
to perform their daily activities.
I understand that concern, and
with my procedures they typically
recover faster and are able
to resume their normal activities
very quickly,” emphasized
Dr. Rosner.
Dr. Rosner has been a major
contributor to both Carthage
Area and Lewis County General
Commerce Healthcare Provider
of the Year award. Frequently
throughout the year he holds
free screenings and participates
in health fairs providing the opportunity
for people to raise
health concerns to him directly.
Additionally, recognizing the
area’s growing diverse ethnicity,
Dr. Rosner is bilingual, speaking
fluent Spanish.
