Bereavement Support Group
Meets Twice Monthly
Chaplain Carolyn Lass facilitates our
Bereavement Support Group
to guide those suffering the loss
of a loved one through the process of grieving.
This is a small, intimate gathering of
Sun City residents who meet twice monthly in
Anthem Center on Monday evenings.
The group is non-denominational and those
attending are welcome to come as often as they
like for whatever period of time they prefer.

Friends of Bill W. is a support group for
those who wish to learn more about
alcoholism from recovering alcoholics.
We supply a brochure

Volunteers provide the following services:
TRANSPORTATION:
To local area medical providers or supermarkets. Three (3)
business days notice required to arrange your ride.
EQUIPMENT:
We will loan you (on a temporary basis) a wheelchair, walker,
crutches, cane, or other durable medical equipment.
HOME MAINTENANCE:
Assistance with minor home maintenance chores such as
cleaning or replacing overhead air filters, replacing batteries in
smoke alarms and CO detectors, changing overhead light bulbs
or lubricating garage doors.
HOME ASSISTANCE:
Resource directory of information on fee-based, discount,
and many other services available to seniors. Volunteers will
also shop and deliver groceries or prescription medication to
residents who are temporarily homebound.
SUPPORT GROUPS:
CSC sponsors several support groups to assist the residents of
Sun City Anthem.

Alzheimer’s Caregivers
Bereavement (non-denominational)
