Capital Improvement Plan
The Fluvanna County School Board develops capital project needs through the Capital
Improvements Plan (CIP). Items identified are submitted to the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors via the
Fluvanna County Planning Commission. The items can be high cost items such as school buses, capital
repair and maintenance projects such a roof replacements or waste water treatment plant maintenance, or
capital construction projects such a building renovations and new construction.
The following pages contain copies of the CIP requests submitted in September 2011 for inclusion in
the County’s Capital Improvement Plan. They cover the period from FY 2012 through FY 2017.
