with CB/S Jarrett Bush to <strong>com</strong>bo block DE Junior Galette at the beginning<br />

of the runback...The duo maintained the block cleanly for a significant<br />

amount of time, allowing Cobb to regain his footing and speed past the<br />

defender untouched to go an additional 70 yards for the score.<br />

at Carolina Panthers (9/18): Did not have any receiving statistics, but<br />

was effective once again as a blocker...Stayed in to protect on QB Aaron<br />

Rodgers’ 49-yard TD to WR Greg Jennings on the first drive of the second<br />

half...Held his block against DE Greg Hardy following a play-action<br />

fake, allowing Rodgers time to find Jennings deep down the field to give<br />

Green Bay its first lead of the game...Also lined up as part of a three-man<br />

backfield on the Packers final drive of the fourth quarter, serving as a lead<br />

blocker for RB James Starks...Smashed LB James Anderson on the left<br />

side of the line of scrimmage, effectively sealing the backside to allow<br />

Starks a 12-yard gain...Rodgers hit WR Jordy Nelson for an 84-yard TD on<br />

the subsequent play to put Green Bay ahead 30-16.<br />

at Chicago Bears (9/25): Appeared in spot duty on offense and again contributed<br />

as a blocker...Stayed in to help protect against a Chicago pressure<br />

on the opening drive of the game...Teamed with T Chad Clifton to block DE<br />

Julius Peppers, giving Rodgers time to find Jennings for a 19-yard gain on<br />

what was an eventual TD drive.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Denver Broncos (10/2): Played on both offense and special teams, but<br />

saw more limited action as the offense instead used multiple-WR sets.<br />

at Atlanta Falcons (10/9): Inactive (knee).<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. St. Louis Rams (10/16): Inactive.<br />

at Minnesota Vikings (10/23): Recorded his first reception of the season on<br />

the offense’s first drive of the second quarter, a 21-yard play on a drive<br />

that culminated with K Mason Crosby’s 39-yard FG...Play was particularly<br />

impressive as he started lined up in the left slot before “thumping”<br />

Minnesota DE Jared Allen with a violent chip block that leveled the <strong>NFL</strong>’s<br />

sack leader, allowing Rodgers time to find him down the field...Also lined<br />

up in the backfield and made a good lead block on LB Chad Greenway on a<br />

16-yard run by Starks in the first quarter...Also sealed DE Brian Robison to<br />

the outside on Starks’ 15-yard run on the first play of a clock-killing drive<br />

late in the fourth quarter that secured the win for Green Bay.<br />

at San Diego Chargers (11/6): Started his first game since 12/12/10 at<br />

<strong>Detroit</strong>, but did not record any receiving statistics.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Minnesota Vikings (11/14): Recorded one catch for 8 yards, a grab thatgave<br />

the offense first-and-goal from the Vikings’ 4-yard line early in the<br />

fourth quarter...Rodgers hit Nelson for a TD two plays later to extend the<br />

lead to 38-7.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11/20: Saw action on both offense and special<br />

teams, and made his first coverage tackle of the season when he brought<br />

down WR Sammie Stroughter at the Tampa Bay 24-yard line on a kickoff<br />

return late in the second quarter...Also made an excellent seal block on the<br />

outside against DE Michael Bennett on Starks’ game-long 20-yard run on<br />

a TD drive in the fourth quarter.<br />

at <strong>Detroit</strong> Lions (11/24): Did not record any receiving statistics, but was<br />

instrumental in helping to first sell a run-fake and then block DE Cliff<br />

Avril on Rodgers’ play-action 65-yard TD to WR James Jones in the third<br />

quarter that extended Green Bay’s lead to 21-0...Was also credited with a<br />

special teams tackle in kickoff coverage.<br />

at New York Giants (12/4): Started as part of a two-TE set and made one<br />

catch, a 7-yarder that picked up a first down on a third quarter scoring<br />

drive...Suffered a severe knee injury while covering a kickoff late in the<br />

fourth quarter and did not return.<br />

90 B.J. Raji, NT, 3rd Year, Boston College<br />

2011 Season: Third-year big man who helps key the team’s run defense<br />

and is also a developing force as a pass rusher...Was named to the Pro<br />

Bowl roster for the NFC for the first time in his career this season after<br />

startomg each of the first 15 games and posting 40 tackles (18 solo), three<br />

sacks, three passes defensed and a fumble recovery...Became the first<br />

Green Bay DT to receive Pro Bowl accolades since Bob Brown in 1972...<br />

Also received his first-ever carry <strong>vs</strong>. Tampa Bay in <strong>Week</strong> 11, scoring from<br />

1 yard out, his first career offensive TD.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. New Orleans Saints (9/8): Started and displayed his impressive physical<br />

conditioning by appearing on 67 of the unit’s 76 defensive plays against<br />

the fast-tempo New Orleans offense...Credited with four tackles (three<br />

solo) and a pass defensed...Pass defensed came late in the fourth quarter<br />

with the Saints at the GB 5-yard line...Jumped up to deflect a QB Drew<br />

Brees pass intended for WR Devery Henderson in the end zone...Was also<br />

part of the goal line stand at the end of the game, pushing forward inside<br />

of G Jahri Evans to force RB Mark Ingram outside and into the grasp of<br />

LB Clay Matthews and S Morgan Burnett, short of the goal line as time<br />

expired.<br />

at Carolina Panthers (9/18): Started at NT and made four tackles (three<br />

solo, one for loss) and his first sack of the young season...Set the tone for<br />

what would be a strong defensive day inside the red zone when he shot<br />

through C and LG, shedding C Ryan Kalil, to drop RB Jonathan Stewart for<br />

a 2-yard loss at the Green Bay 3-yard line on Carolina’s opening drive...On<br />

his sack, clubbed his way past LG Travelle Wharton, beating him up the<br />

field and tripping up QB Cam Newton for a 12-yard loss...Helped hold the<br />

Panthers formidable RB duo of Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams<br />

to a <strong>com</strong>bined 18 yards on 11 carries (1.6 avg.) during the game.<br />

at Chicago Bears (9/25): Appeared on 46 plays and recorded an assisted<br />

tackle as part of a defensive front that tied the fourth-lowest net rushing<br />

yardage total allowed in franchise history (13 yards) against the rival<br />

Bears...Teamed with fellow linemen Ryan Pickett and Jarius Wynn to consistently<br />

tie up blockers to free up linebackers to make plays...Was also<br />

credited with two QB hits during the game.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Denver Broncos (10/2): Tallied three tackles (one solo, one for loss)<br />

in the Packers’ 49-23 win...Tackle for loss came early in the first quarter<br />

when he shed LG Zane Beadles and dropped QB Tim Tebow for a 1-yard<br />

loss in the backfield on a shotgun QB-keeper.<br />

at Atlanta Falcons (10/9): Registered three tackles and a QB hit, and his<br />

work up front allowed inside LBs Desmond Bishop and A.J. Hawk to <strong>com</strong>bine<br />

for 16 tackles for a defense that pitched a shutout after the 12:29 mark<br />

of the second quarter...Run defense was again stout, limiting Pro Bowl RB<br />

Michael Turner to just 56 yards on 16 carries (3.5 avg.), his second lowest<br />

output of the season to that point.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. St. Louis Rams (10/16): Totaled four tackles (one solo) as part of a<br />

defense that did not allow a TD for the first time in 2011...Helped consume<br />

enough blocks to allow Bishop and Hawk to <strong>com</strong>bine for 33 tackles, including<br />

Bishop’s career-high 20, the most by a Green Bay player in almost five<br />

years...Defense forced five punts, three turnovers on downs, an INT and a<br />

missed FG in the 24-3 win.<br />

at Minnesota Vikings (10/23): Led the defensive line with six tackles (two<br />

solo) and a sack in a 33-27 Green Bay win...Saw his second sack of the<br />

season <strong>com</strong>e when he chased Minnesota QB Christian Ponder toward the<br />

sideline on a third-and-5 rollout on the Vikings’ first possession of the<br />

second half...Grasped the QB near the sideline, running him out of bounds<br />

for zero-yard sack that forced a punt...Ensuing punt was returned 42 yards<br />

by WR Randall Cobb and set up another Green Bay TD...Also drew a holding<br />

call against C Joe Berger on a fourth-quarter play that negated a 7-yard<br />

scramble by Ponder.<br />

at San Diego Chargers (11/6): Totaled two tackles (one solo) and a QB hit...<br />

Fought off a double-team on a fourth-quarter rush to pressure QB Philip<br />

Rivers into an in<strong>com</strong>plete pass on a third down to force a punt...The<br />

Packers scored three plays later to extend the lead to 45-24...Bull-rushed<br />

G Tyronne Green on San Diego’s final drive, walking the lineman back into<br />

Rivers and getting the QB in the grasp before he threw the ball away.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Minnesota Vikings (11/14): Statistically, was credited with one assisted<br />

tackle, but was a significant part of a run defense that limited Pro Bowl<br />

RB Adrian Peterson to just 51 yards on 14 carries (3.6 avg.)...Defense<br />

forced six punts, two turnovers on downs and a turnover in 11 Minnesota<br />

possessions.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11/20: Credited with an assisted tackle and a<br />

batted pass...Personal highlight of the game came on the offensive side of<br />

the ball, when he lined up in the backfield on a second-and-goal from the<br />

1-yard line on the 15th play of the Packers’ opening possession...Took a<br />

handoff from QB Aaron Rodgers and surged forward for a 1-yard TD to put<br />

the Packers ahead 7-0, the first offensive TD of his career...With the TD,
