at <strong>Detroit</strong> Lions (11/24): Carried six times for 20 yards (3.3. avg.) and added<br />

three catches for 20 yards (6.7 avg.)...Helped sell the run fake on Rodgers’<br />

65-yard play-action TD pass to Jones that extended the Packers’ lead to<br />

21-0 in the third quarter.<br />

at New York Giants (12/4): Carried a team-high 13 times, but netted only 29<br />

yards (2.2 avg.) against a stingy Giants run defense...Posted his seasonlong<br />

<strong>17</strong>-yard reception in the third quarter.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Oakland Raiders (12/11): Led the rushing effort with an excellent performance,<br />

highlighted by a season-long 47-yard TD run on the offense’s first<br />

play in the game...In total, carried 10 times for 85 yards (8.5 avg.) and<br />

two TDs...The pair of TDs tied his regular season career high that he has<br />

posted on three other occasions...On the long TD, took a handoff from<br />

Rodgers between C and LG, making a hesitation fake before hitting the hole<br />

that drew LB Rolando McClain into the wrong gap and freed him through<br />

the line and into the second level...Broke a tackle attempt by S Michael<br />

Huff and outran S Mike Mitchell the rest of the way for his first TD of the<br />

season...Rush was his longest since a 56-yard TD run <strong>vs</strong>. Seattle on Dec.<br />

27, 2009 (he missed the final 15 games of 2010), and was the longest by<br />

a Packer this season...Second TD came from 6 yards out in the second<br />

quarter when he shot through the left side of the line and scored to extend<br />

Green Bay’s lead to 31-0 with 7:06 to play in the opening half...Also made<br />

a 13-yard reception on a swing pass on the offense’s second possession<br />

that set up a TD from Rodgers to TE Ryan Taylor on the following play...<br />

Paired with Kuhn, shouldered the entirety of the rushing load with Starks<br />

inactive due to an ankle injury and rookie RB Brandon Saine leaving the<br />

game with a concussion in the first half.<br />

at Kansas City Chiefs (12/18): Started as the lone active RB on gameday...<br />

Led the team with 12 carries for 66 yards (5.5 avg.) and a long run of<br />

18...Also posted a season-high 35 yards on three receptions (11.7 avg.),<br />

including a season-long 22-yard catch in the fourth quarter.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Chicago Bears (12/25): Carried eight times for 44 yards (5.5 avg.),<br />

helping to create a balance for an efficient offense that manufactured<br />

five TD drives despite only possessing the ball for just over 24 minutes...<br />

Also made two catches for 34 yards (<strong>17</strong>.0 avg.), including his career-long<br />

32-yard catch-and-run off of a screen pass on the game’s opening drive...<br />

On the play, followed an initial block by RG Josh Sitton and then exploded<br />

through a lane created in part by a good downfield block by WR Donald<br />

Driver...Helped set up a TD pass from Rodgers to TE Jermichael Finley that<br />

gave Green Bay an early 7-0 lead it would never relinquish...Also stormed<br />

off of left end for his game-long run in the third quarter, bouncing off of<br />

a pair of hits, first from S Major Wright and then LB Lance Briggs, before<br />

finally being brought down.<br />

20 Alex Green, RB, Rookie, Hawaii<br />

2011 Season: A promising young weapon who had begun to see his<br />

role in the offense increase each week following an early-season Achilles<br />

injury...Had appeared in four games, seeing time on special teams and as<br />

the No. 3 RB on offense before suffering a season-ending knee injury at<br />

Minnesota in <strong>Week</strong> 7...Placed on injured reserve, Oct. 31.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. New Orleans Saints (9/8): Saw action in his professional contest, mostly<br />

on special teams...Made a good block on WR Randall Cobb’s <strong>NFL</strong> recordtying<br />

108-yard KR-TD, walling off S Isa Abdul-Quddus just long enough<br />

to allow Cobb a lane to run through at the beginning of the return...Also<br />

caught the action at the tail end of the return and finished off DE Junior<br />

Galette, who was still trailing the play.<br />

at Carolina Panthers (9/18): Listed as a gameday inactive after suffering an<br />

Achilles injury in practice on Sept. 16.<br />

at Chicago Bears (9/25): Inactive.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Denver Broncos (10/2): Returned to the gameday lineup in the absence<br />

of the injured Ryan Grant (kidney), serving as the top backup at RB and<br />

seeing time on special teams during the game...Saw his first action from<br />

scrimmage as a pro late in the fourth quarter when the team began resting<br />

its starters...Carried three times for 11 yards (3.7 avg.), ripping off an<br />

8-yard run through the left side on his first carry.<br />

at Atlanta Falcons (10/9): Appeared in the game, mostly on special teams<br />

but also briefly on offense where he recorded his first reception as a pro, a<br />

6-yard gain to convert a key third-and-2 late in the first half...Drive resulted<br />

in the then-trailing Packers’ second FG of the game, tightening the score to<br />

14-6 just before halftime of what was eventually a 25-14 victory.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. St. Louis Rams (10/16): Inactive.<br />

at Minnesota Vikings (10/23): Appeared in the game, but suffered a severe<br />

knee injury while blocking on the Packers’ first kickoff return in the first<br />

quarter and did not return...The following day, it was announced that he<br />

would miss the remainder of the season due to the injury.<br />

95 Howard Green, NT/DE, 7th Year, Louisiana State<br />

2011 Season: Massive, well-traveled veteran continues to provide bulk<br />

and depth up front...Has appeared in each game, starting five, and has<br />

recorded 21 tackles (six solo) as a reserve DL while also serving as an<br />

interior protector and rusher on the placement units.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. New Orleans Saints (9/8): Active, but played only sparingly as the<br />

Packers employed their nickel defense featuring only two down linemen<br />

for most of the game.<br />

at Carolina Panthers (9/18): Saw limited snaps for the second consecutive<br />

week with the defense in nickel for most of the game.<br />

at Chicago Bears (9/25): Dressed but appeared only on placement rushes<br />

and protections as he did not see any time on defense.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Denver Broncos (10/2): Appeared on <strong>17</strong> plays, making two tackles (one<br />

solo).<br />

at Atlanta Falcons (10/9): Saw action on seven defensive snaps, but did not<br />

record any statistics...Served as part of the protection unit on each of K<br />

Mason Crosby’s career-high tying four FGs, including his then franchise<br />

record-tying 56-yarder in the third quarter.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. St. Louis Rams (10/16): Was particularly productive in limited action,<br />

being credited with a season-high four tackles (one solo) in 10 plays as<br />

part of a defense that did not give up a TD during the game...Occupied<br />

two blockers on LB A.J. Hawk’s second-quarter sack when Hawk twisted<br />

around Green to drop QB Sam Bradford for a 9-yard loss.<br />

at Minnesota Vikings (10/23): Appeared on a season-high 23 plays and<br />

recorded an assisted tackle...Was credited with a QB pressure when<br />

he came free from from a block by G Steve Hutchinson to pressure QB<br />

Christian Ponder into a throwaway on the Vikings’ final drive of the fourth<br />

quarter that would ultimately end with a punt...Again served as part of the<br />

interior-protection unit for all four of Crosby’s successful FG attempts,<br />

including his franchise-record 58-yarder in the third quarter.<br />

at San Diego Chargers (11/6): Saw 21 plays on defense and recorded an<br />

assisted tackle.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Minnesota Vikings (11/14): Significant part of a defense that limited All-<br />

Pro RB Adrian Peterson to just 51 yards on 14 carries (3.6) during the<br />

game...Was credited with one assisted tackle and saw increased action in<br />

the defense’s effort to limit Minnesota’s dangerous running game.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11/20): Started for the first time in 2011 with the<br />

defense opening in its base 3-4 alignment against the Buccaneers’ powerful<br />

rushing attack...Posted two assisted tackles, the first <strong>com</strong>ing when he<br />

<strong>com</strong>bined with LB Desmond Bishop to drop RB LeGarrette Blount for a<br />

3-yard loss in the backfield in the second quarter...Tackle behind the line<br />

extended the down-and-distance on a red-zone drive that ultimately ended<br />

with a FG.<br />

at <strong>Detroit</strong> Lions (11/24): Appeared briefly on defense and on special teams<br />

but did not record any statistics.<br />

at New York Giants (12/4): Made his second start of the season, appearing<br />

on 25 plays and tallying two tackles (one solo).<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Oakland Raiders (12/11): Started for the second consecutive week at<br />

RDE, posting three tackles (two solo).<br />

at Kansas City Chiefs (12/18): Started once again at RDE and saw action on<br />

a season-high 49 snaps in the absence of fellow DL Ryan Pickett who was<br />

inactive following a concussion suffered against Oakland the week before...<br />

Tied his season high with four tackles (one solo) and was an integral part<br />

of the short-yardage red-zone and goal-line defenses that limited to the<br />

Chiefs to just one TD in five red-zone trips and three goal-to-go situations.<br />

<strong>vs</strong>. Chicago Bears (12/25): Started at RDE and appeared on 20 plays,<br />

recording an assisted tackle.
