on her TOTAL performance-milk production and show<br />
ring placing. Her total score will be determined by:<br />
(1) placing in the respective class; (2) her highest<br />
305-day, 2x Energy Corrected Milk (ECM) record;<br />
and (3) the total lbs. of ECM produced per day over<br />
24 months of age up through July 1, 2011. (Up-todate<br />
production through July 1 as reported on the<br />
monthly DHI report should be supplied by exhibitor<br />
two weeks prior to show day.) The requirements a<br />
cow must meet to qualify for the Total Performance<br />
class are as follows: (1) born before September<br />
1, 2006; (2) completed three lactations by July 1,<br />
2011; (3) possess at least one official DHI record<br />
in 305-day, 2x of 20,000 lbs. of milk or 800 lbs. of<br />
butterfat or 700 lbs. of protein, (4) place in the top<br />
50% of her respective class (top five if less than 10<br />
in class); and (5) diagnosed pregnant if lst calving or<br />
embryo collection is more than 12 months prior to<br />
the show date. Official lifetime production records<br />
on all qualifying cows must be sent to and received<br />
by the National Brown Swiss office at least two (2)<br />
weeks prior to show day so that the records can be<br />
verified and production scores calculated. The DHI<br />
sheet showing credits up through July 1 will be accepted<br />
to up-date lifetime records. It is the owner’s<br />
responsibility to supply these records including the<br />
July test sheets.<br />
Red and White – Total Performance Winner is calculated<br />
on points as follows: (1) Points on placing plus<br />
points on production 305-day production (milk lbs.)<br />
1 st - 50; 2 nd - 45; 3 rd - 40; 4 th - 35; 5 th - 30; 6 th - 25;<br />
7 th - 20; 8 th - 15; 9 th - 10; 10 th - 5. (2) <strong>All</strong> production<br />
entries supplied from show catalog or DHI sheets to<br />
show chairman before start of show. Production regardless<br />
of age will be considered as one class and<br />
points awarded accordingly. (3) 25 additional points<br />
awarded if exhibitor is breeder of animal. (4) If tie<br />
exists, lactation factor shall be applied with 10 points<br />
awarded for each lactation completed. (5) Purse of<br />
$100 from a sponsor and plaque from RWDCA.<br />
65. PENNSYLVANIA GUERNSEY THREE YEAR OLD<br />
FUTURITY-to qualify for the Futurity, an initial nomination<br />
fee of $2.00 was made January 1, 2009;<br />
$4.00 January 1, 2010; $6.00 January 1, 2011 and<br />
$10.00 July 1, 2011. The purse is to be divided on<br />
the following basis:<br />
1 st ---- 30% 2 nd ---- 20% 3 rd ------- 10%<br />
4 th ---- 8% 5 th ---- 6% 6 th ------- 5%<br />
7 th ---- 3% 8 th ---- 2% 9 th -13 th -- 2%<br />
66. BROWN SWISS 2 YEAR OLD FUTURITY<br />
- Open to ANY AND ALL Brown Swiss heifer<br />
calves born from September 1, 2010 to August<br />
31, 2011 from any state. <strong>All</strong> Futurity payments<br />

entered in an open show 2 year old class.<br />

68. STATE HERD PREMIUMS - The <strong>All</strong>-<strong>American</strong><br />
<strong>Dairy</strong> Show will pay premiums to open<br />
show state herds in all breeds as listed on the<br />
following chart.<br />
