Groundbirch Mainline (Aitken Creek Section) – Provide preliminary engineering for the construct and operate an extension to the existing Groundbirch Mainline in northeast British Columbia, Peace River Engineering Services Regional District. The pipeline will be up to 194 kilometres of up to 48- inch diameter pipeline. Liege Lateral Loop No. 2 (Thornbury) – Provide preliminary cost 2 TransCanada Pipelines Ltd. estimate for engineering services for the construction of 37.5 Cost Estimation kilometres of 30-ince diameter pipeline being constructed in the south Liege and north Leismer areas, in the province of Alberta. (CHAI) - Project consisted of the design of three 10-inch diameter pipelines running above ground and below ground with approximately 13,000 ft (with a working pressure of Design, Field Inspection, Testing, 150 psig). The fuel system enabled the delivery of petroleum Commissioning products from the CHAI Marine Terminal to the Irving Oil Marine Tank Farm. HMM provided detailed design of the system, field inspection and testing and commissioning. Montréal-Trudeau Airport Fuel Facility – Airports de Montreal (ADM) completed a $1.8 billion expansion of the Montréal-Trudeau Airport Terminal in order to meet increases in airport passenger travel. HMM supplied engineering services for the expansion of the jet fuel Engineering Services distribution system which supplies the airport gates. The project mandate was to provide a well-designed, cost-effective and efficient jet fuel distribution system in order to meet the demands of the airport expansion. Pearson Airport - Jet Fuel Hydrant By-Pass Project - Project involved design and construction of twin 600mm and 500mm jet fuel by-pass lines and five valve chambers, a distance of 2,200m and a 400 mm line to the infield and air cargo area, a distance of 1,300 m to service the new terminal development at Toronto Pearson International Airport. HMM provided detail design, cost estimates, contract preparation and coordination with the Project Manager along with construction supervision and inspection. Winnipeg International Airport WIFFC Hydrant System – The Winnipeg Airport Authority constructed a new Airport Terminal and Aircraft Apron area, which opened in late 2007. Winnipeg International Fuel Facilities Corporation (WIFFC) installed an underground hydrant fuelling system in the aircraft apron area to enhance the efficiency and safety of aircraft refueling activities. The fuelling system was constructed in six separate phases; Phase 1 – the apron area header and hydrants, Phase 2 – the feed line from the existing tank farm to the apron header; Phase 3 – renovations at the existing tank farm to accommodate the hydrant system; Phases 4, 5 and 6 – future header extensions to accommodate Aprons V and V11A. WIFFC contracted FSM Management Group In. (FSM) for project management and facility monitoring services. HMM was engaged as Project Design Engineer under the direction of the Project Manager. Design, Cost Estimation, Contract Preparation, Construction Supervision & Inspection Engineering Services Axe Lake - Engineering study to investigate routing and design options for a natural gas pipeline from Alberta to service the Axe Lake Engineering Services facility in Saskatchewan. 4-in diameter pipeline with approximately 50,000 m installed in Alberta and 10,000 m in Saskatchewan Elswick - More than 25 projects were completed ranging from grass roots pipeline gathering systems to pipeline additions into existing infrastructure. Further, process troubleshooting, plant debottlenecking, equipment replacement, water flood expansions and field compression projects were also completed. Willesden Green - More than 25 projects were completed ranging from grass roots pipeline gathering systems to pipeline additions into existing infrastructure and field compression. Ferrier West - More than 25 projects completed, including a large grass root pipeline gathering system utilizing three large trunk lines to feed into a new gas plant. The three trunk lines included several large creek and river crossings over the 10-km length of the pipeline.
