113. Arrival of Exhibits Poultry & Pigeons Eggs, Rabbits & Cavies. Birds may arrive at the <strong>Show</strong>grounds on<br />
Tuesday, 10th May between 2.00pm and 8.00 pm hall to be cleared by 8.30pm. No entries will be permitted<br />
to be delivered on Wednesday morning, the day of judging. Arrival of Decorated Eggs. Monday 9th May from<br />
5.00pm and 7.00pm. No entries will be permitted to be delivered on Tuesday morning the day of judging.<br />
114. Removal of Exhibits. No exhibit may be removed until the close of the <strong>Show</strong> except on the written authority<br />
of the Chief Steward. The Poultry Hall and Rabbit Hall will be closed to the public at 8.00 pm on Friday, 13th<br />
May, and Exhibitors should collect their exhibits before 8.30pm on Friday evening or Saturday morning between<br />
10.00am 12.00 noon. (Exhibits may be placed in hampers from 7.30pm on Friday evening]. Special cards will be<br />
issued, enabling exhibitors to claim their eggs. These cards, signed by exhibitors, must in all cases be presented<br />
to the official in charge of the Section, when exhibits are being claimed.<br />
115. RABBITS - Entry Limit. Entries will be restricted to the first 100 Rabbits.<br />
116. Exhibit Number - Exhibit numbers will be supplied and must be securely fastened to each exhibit.<br />
117. Restricted access during Judging - During judging, access to the Poultry Hall and Rabbit Hall will be<br />
restricted to Judges and Stewards.<br />
118. Exhibitors in the poultry section will not be permitted to place any advertising or evidence of ownership of<br />
exhibits on their cages.<br />
119. ‘For Sale’ signs are not permitted on pens of exhibits.<br />
120. Vaccinations Required. Unhealthy birds forwarded for exhibition will be returned immediately to the exhibitor,<br />
and the entry fee paid forfeit. It is recommended that all birds entered for the <strong>Show</strong> are vaccinated against<br />
Newcastle disease.<br />
All pigeons entered must be vaccinated with the Paramyxo Vaccine not less than 2 weeks before the date of the<br />
<strong>Show</strong> – Certificates of vaccination must be produced to the chief steward on arrival at the Poultry Hall.<br />
121. Feeding of Exhibits. The exhibits will be fed by the exhibitor, steward or an appointed competent person.<br />
Under no circumstances will any person be allowed to interfere with an exhibit, without the permission of the<br />
Stewards.<br />
122. Exclusion of Liability. The most careful arrangements are made for the proper accommodation of all exhibits,<br />
but any loss or damage sustained , whether arising from accident, fire, wrong delivery, or from any other cause<br />
must be borne by the exhibitors, the exhibits being penned and exhibited at the exhibitors own risk.<br />
123. Disposal of eggs laid - To minimise any risk of disease spread, all eggs laid by exhibits will be destroyed.<br />
124. Fraudulent Practices. The Judges will be instructed to disqualify and report to the Chief Steward any exhibit<br />
which they may detect to have been artificially trimmed, coloured, [except Minorcas] or otherwise unfairly dealt<br />
with.<br />
125. Exclusion of Liability. The most careful arrangements are made for the proper accommodation of all exhibits,<br />
but any loss or damage sustained , whether arising from accident, fire, wrong delivery, or from any other cause<br />
must be borne by the exhibitors, the exhibits being penned and exhibited at the exhibitors own risk. In no case<br />
will the Society be responsible for the safe delivery or dispatch of exhibits.<br />
