CATTLE<br />
<strong>Balmoral</strong> <strong>Show</strong> is a Qualifying <strong>Show</strong> for the Holstein NI Awards, Samuel Wilson Perpetual<br />
Memorial Shield and the Bibby Perpetual Challenge Trophy.<br />
Exhibitors shall familiarise themselves with the various breed society rules which apply to their<br />
breed section as they relate to showing, particularly regards eligibility to enter, exhibitor bred<br />
status and show ring ethics.<br />
CLASS<br />
594 HEIFER, under 18 months on date of <strong>Show</strong>.<br />
595 HEIFER, in calf, over 18 months and under three years of age on date of <strong>Show</strong>.<br />
596 COW, in calf not less than 5 months.<br />
597 HEIFER, in milk, born on or after 1st November 2008.<br />
598 HEIFER, in milk, born on or before 31st October 2008, having had not more<br />
than one calving.<br />
599 COW, in milk, having had two calvings.<br />
600 COW, in milk, having had three calvings.<br />
601 COW, in milk, having had four or more calvings.<br />
602 COW, which by 18th March 2011 has given a certified production of not less<br />
than 50 tonnes as per part or completed lactation certification.<br />
603 GROUP OF THREE FEMALES, bona fide the property of one exhibitor and<br />
entered in the Classes for which they are eligible.<br />
Specials<br />
S313 CHAMPION PRIZES, £100 and £50 - for the Champion and Reserve Champion<br />
Holstein [3rd <strong>Prize</strong> £25]. Presented by the Society.<br />
S314 PERPETUAL CHALLENGE TROPHY - for the best Holstein. Presented by John<br />
Thompson & Sons Limited.<br />
S315 THE HOLSTEIN FRIESIAN PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for the best Holstein.<br />
Presented by Holstein UK.<br />
S316 CHAMPIONSHIP AWARD - for the exhibitor of the best Holstein. Champion Award<br />
rosette presented by Holstein UK. Reserve will receive a Rosette.<br />
S317 SILVER AWARDS - for the best and second best Holstein.<br />
S318 THE R J COOPER MEMORIAL TROPHY - for the best Junior Female. Presented<br />
by W R Cooper, Dungannon.<br />
S319 SPECIAL PRIZES, £50 and £25 - for the best and reserve exhibitor bred animals.<br />
Presented by the Society.<br />
S320 SPECIAL PRIZE, £50 - for the best uddered animal. Presented by the Society.<br />
S321 THE CRAIGBET ROSAN PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for the winner in Class<br />
602. Presented by Holstein NI.<br />
S322 SPECIAL PRIZES, £50, £30 and £20 - for the first, second and third placed animals<br />
in Class 602. Presented by the Society.<br />
S323 BARBICAN CRYSTAL AWARD - for the best group of three animals bred by<br />
the exhibitor and not necessarily by the same sire. Presented by J C & J D<br />
Heenan.<br />
S324 ROSETTE - for the best uddered animal. Presented by Holstein UK.<br />
S325 ROSETTE - for the best exhibitor bred animal. Presented by Holstein UK.<br />
