closing of entries for this <strong>Show</strong>. Calves shown at foot of their dam must be registered in or to be<br />
eligible to be registered in the Hereford Herd book.<br />
<strong>Balmoral</strong> <strong>Show</strong> is a Qualifying <strong>Show</strong> for NIHBA Awards.<br />

506 HEIFER, born on or after 1st July 2009, and on or before 31st December<br />
2009.<br />
507 HEIFER, born on or after 1st January 2010.<br />
508 BULL, born prior to 1st April 2009.<br />
509 BULL, born on or after 1st April 2009, and on or before 31st December<br />

511 GROUP OF THREE ANIMALS, bona fide the property of one exhibitor and<br />
entered in the Classes for which they are eligible.<br />
S210 CHAMPION PRIZES, £100 and £50 - for the Champion and Reserve Champion<br />
Hereford. Presented by the Society.<br />
S211 JUNIOR BREED CHAMPION, £30 & £20 - for the Champion and Reserve male or<br />
female animals born or or after 1st January 2010. Only 1st and 2nd <strong>Prize</strong> winners<br />
forward. Rosettes to be worn. Presented by the Society.<br />
S212 THE HEREFORD PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for the best Hereford animal<br />
exhibited by a Member of that Association, with a replica to the breeder who<br />
wins this Cup on any three occasions with different animals. Presented by the NI<br />
Hereford Breeders’ Association.<br />
S213 F W McMORDIE PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for the best Junior Hereford<br />
[born on or after 1st July 2009]. Presented by the McMordie Family in memory of<br />
the late Eric McMordie.<br />
S214 THE JERVIS W WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for<br />
award to the best Hereford female. Presented by Mrs Isobel Williamson.<br />
S215 THE SIDNEY MAWHINNEY PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP - for the best<br />
naturally polled Hereford bred in the United Kingdom. Presented by Sidney<br />
Mawhinney, Lisburn and Ballyclare.<br />
