Champion of Champions [2nd, £200; 3rd, £100]. To be judged on Friday 13th May in<br />
the Cattle Lawn following Class judging.<br />
JOHN THOMPSON & SONS LIMITED DAIRY PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIPS<br />
DAIRY : AYRSHIRE, HOLSTEIN, DAIRY SHORTHORN AND JERSEY<br />
Immediately after judging a Breed Society representative, or, in the case of the Holstein section,<br />
the judge, will nominate three females (dairy) to represent the breeds in the Pairs Championship<br />
which will take place after the judging on Friday in the Cattle Lawn immediately prior to the<br />
assembly for the Arena Cattle Parade. The pairs will then follow the Inter Breed Champions in the<br />
Parade to the Arena. <strong>Prize</strong> money will be paid to Breed Clubs and not to individual exhibitors.<br />
S327 SPECIAL PRIZES , £250 & £150 - for the Champion and Reserve Champion Dairy<br />
breed pair.<br />
JOHN THOMPSON & SONS LTD DAIRY GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS<br />
DAIRY: AYRSHIRE, HOLSTEIN, DAIRY SHORTHORN AND JERSEY<br />
Three females, each having produced at least one calf, entered in the Classes for which they are<br />
eligible. Calves born on or after 1st January 2011 may accompany dam during judging. Calves<br />
must be led by separate leader.<br />
Immediately after judging on Friday 13th May a Breed Society representative or, in the case of the<br />
Holstein section, the judge will select the Groups to compete in the above Competitions, which<br />
will take place on Friday 13th May after the Champion of Champion.<br />
S328 THE DALGETY DAIRY PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP and £200 - for the best<br />
Group in the Dairy Group Competition. Presented by John Thompson & Sons Ltd.<br />
Reserve <strong>Prize</strong>, £100.<br />
JOHN THOMPSON & SONS LIMITED DAIRY PRESENTATION AWARDS<br />
The object of this award is to encourage exhibitors to maximise the marketing and promotion of<br />
their breed:-<br />
The Judge will inspect the cattle lines taking into account presentation of cattle, cleanliness and<br />
tidiness of stalls and central passageway and marketing and promotion of the breed.<br />
The decision of the judge will be advised to the winning Breed Society and the presentation of<br />
awards will take place on Friday afternoon.<br />
S329 SPECIAL PRIZE, £125 and Memento - for the breed Society having the best<br />
presentation of Dairy Cattle at the <strong>Show</strong>. Reserve <strong>Prize</strong> £75, 3rd £50.<br />
