Meanwhile, in Newark, New Jersey in the United States, Neil
Bootysmasher sat in his room. He was bored and lonely and he only had a
sister. Downstairs he could hear his mother and sister arguing again.
“I want to go to the mall! It’s not fair. Why am I grounded?” yelled
his sister.
“We told you to stop dating Ralph. He’s an escaped convict,”
yelled his mom back.
Neil noticed he had an e-mail from someone named
Bootysmasher1 . He looked at his screen in disbelief and then rushed
downstairs to tell his mom he wanted to go to the mall.
“Mom, I’m going to the mall.”
“OK.”
They drove to the mall. They went shopping in some stores and
bought clothing. Neil bought really cool clothing. Neil then noticed from
the corner of his eye that one of the stores was closed. He started looking
at the store when a cruise missile slipped past security and blew the store
to pieces. The store was a fiery ruin, making Neil wonder.
Neil urged his mom to look at the blast.
“We should hurry and get out of here!” she said.
“Oh my god! You’re right!” said Neil.
Neil and Mrs. Bootysmasher finished their shopping very quickly
and then ran outside to the parking lot. Suddenly, another cruise missile
slammed into all the cars except theirs. Everywhere Neil looked, it was
like the sun was replaced by a giant ball of fire.
“What’s going on?” people said. Pretty soon the cops got involved.
Hawkeye told his mother to hurry home.
Neil was trying to figure out everything that was going on, so he
hurried upstairs and checked that e-mail he got.
