Prior to age prepare their
Selves for what’s to come,
Consume by a flesh tube,
Think unmoving thoughts
Which translate slowly to: I am I am I am
And what I am is different from the other one,
Prepare
By taking in initial senses, which
Are warm, close, rounded about,
Dark inside and out, folded about,
By holding tight hands and arms, then
Kicking out straight, into a soft and cushioned concave.
These fetal females at times dream
What are templates for slow waves
On the beach and midnight caves,
Dream tightly wound phrases without language,
Perceive color where no light cracks,
Hear musical notes pressed to that flesh cathedral
Dome, dance then, sway, tap ten tight toes
Where the world is still secret, where they
Have not yet been ripped, yanked and sent, shot
