MARINA SQUARE SHOPPING MALL
With over 640,000 square feet of net lettable retail space,
Marina Square Shopping Mall offers a broad mix of
tenants offering a diverse selection of shopping, dining
and entertainment options. Adding to the array of major
international fashion brands like Zara, Mango, Desigual
and Massimo Dutti, is British label, Marks & Spencer which
opened a 20,000 square foot duplex store in September
2012. Another new addition to the mall is well-known bath
and beauty brand from Israel – Laline. The opening of these
international labels reinforces Marina Square Shopping
Mall’s position as a prime shopping destination within the
Marina Bay area.
The draw of food and beverage outlets in Marina Square
remains strong with Paradise Inn, making its entry.
Shoppers can look forward to even more enticing dining
options with a revamped Gourmet Zone which is slated for
completion in the second quarter of 2013.
During the year, the mall held several fun and exciting
promotional activities. In March, the mall displayed the
largest 3-Dimensional Balloon Sculpture at the atrium.
The balloon sculpture constructed in the shape of a robot,
measured 19 by 23 metres and used more than 79,854
balloons, was accorded the “Largest 3D Balloon Sculpture”
in the Guinness World Records and the “Largest Single
Sculpture Made of Balloons” in the Singapore Book of
Records. This event won Best Retail Event 2012 organised
by the Singapore Retailers Association.
