EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN: Turn ignition switch to STOP.<br />
1. Start engine.<br />

To help avoid injury: Do not direct water lance at overhead lines. Water conducts electricity.<br />

• Squeeze water pressure lever to start<br />
water pressure.<br />
• Work pressurized water in a rocking or<br />
circular motion to loosen and excavate soil<br />
until hole is at the desired diameter and<br />
depth.<br />
Basic Tool<br />
• First use water lance to loosen soil.<br />
• Work tool in a rocking or circular motion to<br />
excavate soil.<br />
• Use water lance and tool alternately until<br />
hole is at the desired diameter and depth.<br />
