Service Precautions<br />

Working Under Raised Tank Door<br />

Crushing weight could cause death or serious injury. Use proper<br />

procedures and equipment or stay away.<br />

To help avoid injury: Use tools (provided with unit) if unit must be serviced with tank<br />

door up.<br />

1. Locate door lock tools in tool storage area and bring<br />

to rear of tank.<br />

2. Raise tank door completely.<br />

3. Pin door lock tools into place as shown.<br />

4. Lower tank lid until load is supported by door lock<br />

tools.<br />

Welding Precaution<br />

NOTICE: Welding can damage electronics.<br />

• Disconnect battery to prevent damage to battery. Do not turn off battery disconnect switch with<br />

engine running, or alternator and other electronic devices may be damaged.<br />

• Connect welder ground clamp close to welding point and make sure no electronic components are<br />

in the ground path.<br />

• Always disconnect the Engine Control Unit ground connection from the frame, harness connections<br />

to the ECU, and other electronic components prior to welding on machine or attachments.<br />

Washing Precaution<br />

NOTICE: Water can damage electronics. When cleaning equipment, do not spray electrical components<br />

with water.<br />
