Mr. Valeriu Dacius Masalar, 35, started his first
business in 1996 producing shutters. The company,
Supra Construct, developed quickly, and in
2003 Mr. Masalar decided to expand his range of
business activities to include importing and distributing
carpet and parquet. However, he knew
would need external funding for this expansion.
In the same year, a friend recommended ProCredit
Bank, and after meeting with a loan officer, Mr.
Masalar applied for a small working capital loan
of EUR 3,000. Since then, he has taken out several
loans ranging from EUR 20,000 to EUR 30,000 to
improve and develop Supra Construct. He has
also opened a credit line and uses the bank’s
overdraft services, which are some of the special
services that ProCredit Bank offers to its SME clients.
By providing him with convenient access to
funds for his business, these services allow him
to keep everything running smoothly.
As Mr. Masalar is very happy with ProCredit

private individual products. He is eager to try out

services particularly useful. In addition, he enthusiastically
recommends the bank to others.

Since Mr. Masalar started working with ProCredit

employees and he now owns the production facility.

and construction shop chains and is also one of
Bucharest’s biggest carpet and parquet installers
for office buildings.
