St Francis Magazine Vol 8, No 4 | August 2012 MUSLIM-BACKGROUND CONGREGATIONS IN THE VILLAGES AROUND LUCKNOW, INDIA: AN INTERVIEW WITH C**** M***** By Duane Alexander Miller and C**** M***** Abstract: Lucknow is about 71% Hindu and 26% Muslim, which tiny minorities of Christians, Jains, and Sikhs. The population of the city with the surrounding areas is around three million. The M*****ss are veteran missionaries and serve under a large American evangelical missionary board. I had the pleasure of meeting C****in 2007 and we have enjoyed staying in touch via Skype and e-mail since then. I proposed that he write something for this issue of SFM on the topic of church planting in Muslim India and he proposed an e-mail interview, which follows.
