Teen Theatre Lab – Two-week
session
Teen Theatre Lab is an acting practicum taught by working
theatre professionals. The theatre lab will focus on developing
a solid foundation for all theatrical endeavors through
acting and improv workshops, monologue and scene work,
and vocal and dance classes. The students will workshop a
performance piece to present to parents and friends on the
final day of class. Participants may register for one or both
sessions and are accepted on a first come basis. Participants
should bring a bag lunch. Space is limited, register early!

In addition to the Teen Theatre Lab, if participants would like
to be in a full-length production, they may audition for the
Hot Dog Suppertime Shows or Wingspread Company.
Wingspread Company
• Open to participants’ ages 14 to 24 years.
• Acceptance to company by audition only.

Acting Company
Bring a recent photo, resume of theatre experience, a comic
and a serious monologue (under two minutes each), and
16 bars of a song. Bring sheet music – pianist provided.
Casting will be determined by the auditions and subsequent
auditions may take place for final casting. Rehearsals run
Mon - Sat, 6-10pm. Please contact the Children’s Theatre at

Technical Company
Those interested in working exclusively in the backstage or
costume areas of production will be accepted by interview.

MUSIC
MELODY’S ACADEMY OF MUSIC
Classes meet at 4151 Middlefield Road, Ste 105 and 110,
Palo Alto, CA, 94303 (inside the Global Fluency building).
For All Melody’s music classes, parents must attend with
their children except group flute class. Music instruments
are available for rent. Materials fee is payable directly to the
Melody Academy on the first day of class. Only registered
students are allowed in the classroom. For more information,

Group Guitar Beginners 10-13
years
This class is designed to facilitate self discovery through
the instrument. Group setting helps create environment for
expression and communication through music. Please bring
your own guitar! Non-refundable material fee of $25 due at
first class meeting.
