Evlilik yemini için Türkiye
Turizm, sürekli yeni arayışlar içinde bir sektör. Arayışlara en ilginç
örneklerden biri de ‘yabancı bir ülkede evlilik modası’. Türkiye
henüz bu konuda Fransa ya da İtalya ile boy ölçüşemese de giderek
daha fazla gencin aklına düşüyor. Daha fazla turizm acentesinin
ajandasında yer alıyor. Turizm rekorlarımıza artık yabancı konukların
nikahları da katılıyor.
Türkiye’de evlilik denince akla iki destinasyon geliyor: Biri bol
sıfırlı rakamlar harcamaya hazır zenginler için İstanbul ve saray
ihtişamındaki düğünler. Diğeri de Antalya ve yöresi. Güneydeki
rakamlar son derece şaşırtıcı. Düşünün, geçen yıl Antalya’da 11 bin
çift evlenmiş. Ve 4 binden fazlası yabancı uyruklu çiftlermiş.
İstanbul’daki düğünler henüz binlerle ifade edilmiyor. Ancak çok
daha büyük ilgi görüyor, konuşuluyor, kazandırıyor… Hindistan’ın
en zengin işadamlarından Bhatia’nın oğlu, dört gün dört gece süren
düğünle en renkli örnek olmuştu. Ama ‘tek örnek’ değildi. Nitekim,
Çırağan Sarayı bir yılda 100’den fazla düğüne ev sahipliği yapıyor.
Bunun yaklaşık beşte biri de yabancı çiftlerin düğünü oluyor.
Turizm sektörü dinamizmini bu konuda da gösteriyor. Türkiye’de
evlilik modasının yaygınlaşması için projeler geliştiriyor. Kimi oteller
‘gelin hamamları’ organize ediyor... Kimi yerlerde at üstünde gelin
getirme törenine kadar otantik düğünler yapılıyor.
Konuklarımıza da, mutlu günlerinde her dilden ‘evet’ demek
düşüyor.
Turkey for wedding vows
Tourism is a sector that is always looking for new things. One of the most
interesting examples of this search is ‘to get married in a foreign country’
trend. While Turkey can not compete with France or Italy in this area yet, it
is in the minds of more and more young people… It appears in the agenda
of more travel agents. Marriage of foreign visitors are now included in our
tourism records.
When getting married in Turkey is mentioned two destinations spring to
mind: One of them is İstanbul for wealthy people who are prepared to
spend figures with plenty of noughts at the end and for sumptuous palace
weddings. The other one is Antalya and its surrounds. The figures from
the South are rather interesting. Think about it, 11 thousand couples got
married in Antalya last year. More than 4 thousand of them were foreign
couples.
Weddings in İstanbul aren’t in their thousands yet. But they attract more
attention, they are talked about more, they bring more money in… The
wedding of the son of one of India’s richest businessmen Bhatia which
lasted four days and four nights became the most colourful example. But
that was not the ‘only example’. Thus, Çırağan Palace is host to more than
100 weddings a year. Almost a fifth of those weddings are the weddings
of foreign couples. Tourism sector displays its dynamism in this area too.
They develop projects to make wedding trend in Turkey to become more
widespread. Some hotels organise ‘bridesmaids hamam’.. Some places
organise authentic wedding receptions that may stretch as far as bringing
the bride on a horse back.
All the guests have to do is to say ‘yes’ in every language on their happiest
day.
