Ancient times up to Ottoman Empire, <strong>Amasra</strong> was admired<br />

by the gods of mythology as well as Fatih Sultan Mehmet<br />

(The Conqueror). Asking if this was ‘the apple of the<br />

world’s eye’ Fatih was indicating that this city was in fact<br />

the most beautiful place in the world<br />
