buildings.
3.21. Kiosks, Sheds, Pavilions and other Outside Elements of City
3.21.1. Location and exploitation of the structures for the temporary utilization of
kiosks and pavilions concerning the location of seasonal terraces and sheds
shall be carried out in accordance with the special binding regulations of
Riga City Council.
3.21.2. There shall be fixed and lightened number sign of street’s land plot (square)
on the wall of each building’s main entrance. If it is not clearly visible from
the pavement, the number sign shall be also on the fence near the entrance
gates in the plot. The number sign shall comply with the sample approved
by the Riga City Council. The sign shall be also fixed to the other entrances
in the side of street.
3.21.3. To each elevation of building, which has been located on the red line, the
definite sample shall be fixed to one or several dustbins, calculating on
every full 25 m of elevation the one additional urn shall be fixed. The
necessary providing with the waste collection facilities, as well as the
requirements to the location thereof are determined by the special binding
regulations of the Riga City Council. Regulations concerning the location of
the flag holders are approved by the Riga City Council.
3.21.4. Sample signs (plates) of street names approved by the Riga City Council
shall be fixed on the corner of structure or fence in the corner land plot.
3.22. Regulations concerning Ensurance of Visibility
3.22.1. Near the crossing with railway in one level:
3.22.1.1. In all territories of building on the land plot, which is adjacent to railway
and the crossing street thereto, no building may not be constructed, rebuild
or established in the way if visibility is hindered between the levels of 0,8
m and 2,5 m above the levels of street’s centre line in the triangle territory,
which is restricted by the border belonging to railway and the red line, and
the line, which joins the points, which are located on the line located on
that kind of line belonging to railway and on the red lines in distance from
the crosspoint of these lines approved by SJC “Latvijas dzelzceļš”
according to the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers.
3.22.2. On the land plot of corner:
3.22.2.1. In all the territories of building may not been constructed, rebuild or
established any structure or building in the way, that it hinders the
visibility between the levels of 0,8 m and 2,5 m above the levels of street’s
centre line in the triangle territory, which is restricted by red lines of
corner land plot and line, which connects points on these red lines, in
distance from the crosspoint of red lines mentioned before in accordance
with requirements of LVS 190-3:1999 Tables 3.8 and 3.9, as well as
Clauses 3.3 and 3.18 (see annex 2 “Visibility Triangles” of these binding
regulation).
3.22.2.2. This regulation does not refer to the building territories within the borders
of monuments of urban building.
