1.80. Recreation – the utilization of artificial and natural resources of premises<br />

and territories to provide the recreation– for the renewal of physical and<br />

mental condition of human health, providing for the building of sport<br />

buildings, hotels, old people’s homes, sanatoria and for the similar building<br />

of structures thereof.<br />

1.81. Terrace house – the utilization of land and vertically divided building or<br />

part thereof intended for three or more apartments on the common or on<br />

separate land plots with private exits to front and rear yards, which is closely<br />

adjacent to the front and rear walls of each apartment.<br />

1.82. Sanation – complex of development measures performed by owner in order<br />

to improve the quality of living surro<strong>un</strong>dings in the existing and historical<br />

building as well and which include the measures of energy saving and<br />

improvement for the infrastructure, as well as the ensuring the accessibility<br />

of environment.<br />

1.83. Red line – the line specified in the spatial planning approved by the local<br />

government, which has delimited the territory necessary for the building of<br />

road, street or access road (also for the corridor of engineering<br />

comm<strong>un</strong>ications), where utilization rights of real estate have been delimited<br />

according to laws, from the building or in other kind utilized territory. Local<br />

government may dispossess the land plot or part thereof according to<br />

procedures specified in Law, if the red line has been determined on specific<br />

plot.<br />

1.84. Private house – within the meaning of these binding regulations the<br />

utilization of land and building intended for single or two family living<br />

house, which has been located freely.<br />

1.85. Square – public outside space formed by small area with or without the<br />

greenery, which is mainly intended for pedestrians and short-time recreation<br />

thereof, but is not used for carriageways.<br />

1.86. Social care institution - within the meaning of these binding regulations the<br />

utilization of land, building or part thereof for the social care purposes, it<br />

may include social care centres, boarding-school, old people’s home,<br />

invalid’s house or other institution for similar purposes.<br />

1.87. Sport building - within the meaning of these binding regulations the<br />

utilization of land, structure (also buildings) primary for the purpose of<br />

sports, games or physical activities and may include seating for the spectators<br />

related with thereof, as well as the sport buildings in living and other<br />

territories, where they serve as the ancillary utilization.<br />

1.88. Plantations – purposefully planted, sowed and cultivated plants of greenery,<br />

as well as the plants grown wild, which should be preserved.<br />

1.89. The height of storeys – the distance between two upper surfaces of<br />

constructions of mezzanine storeys’ slab.<br />

1.90. The area of storeys – total area of all storeys of capital building, exclude<br />

basements. Area of storey is area restricted by external outline of building,<br />

including internal and external walls of building.<br />

1.91. Service station– within the meaning of these binding regulations the<br />

utilization of land, structure (also building) or part thereof (clearly defined<br />

premises) for service and repair of vehicles, including complete repair,<br />

painting, washing and cleaning of body, carriage, engine and tyres, as well as<br />

sale of oils, lubricants, antifreeze, tyres, sparkplugs, batteries and spares.
